Finding Clarity Through Life's Transitions with Reiki
Life has a funny way of throwing us curveballs. It can be a career shift, a move (homes or offices), a relationship ending or beginning. And honestly? Those moments can feel overwhelming, even when the change is a good one. I keep thinking how ready I am to leave my work / day job, as much as I love my co-workers (as we have trauma bonded through the dumpster fires on a daily bases), but even when I move on to bigger and better things, I would still greive my the years I gave to my profession.
That's exactly where Reiki comes in, and why I'm so passionate about it.
This will be for a later post, but before leaving a 15 year romantic relationship, my nervous system was on over drive. I was a hot mess. I was mad. I was scared. I was over it. I was literally at the crossroads.
Fast forward, I left and I was starting to feel more at ease, but I had so much heaviness still. The Covid hit... & then Lock Down. That's when I really started to dive deep into Reiki. I knew a bit, and did a few sessions and boy did it feel amazing! When I began my practice I learned how the energy healing doesn't need to be in person. In fact, it works the exact same asynchronous or online.
Reiki is an energy healing practice built around the idea that universal life energy flows through all of us. In a session with me, I use gentle touch or hands held just above your body, to help that energy move freely again. What that looks like for you might be deep relaxation, emotional release, or simply walking out with a clearer head than you walked in with.
So when you're in the middle of a big life change, your nervous system is working overtime. I mean how can it not with the climate of our world today? I know that some people think it's too woo-woo but it is backed by science. Reiki helps quiet all of that noise & the static. I've seen clients come in stuck, grieving a divorce, anxious about a new job, lost after a big move, and leave feeling more grounded more at ease. More sure of what they actually need.
Here's what I love most about it: Reiki meets you exactly where you are. There's no pressure, no judgment just space for you to breathe and reconnect with yourself.
If you're navigating a transition right now and could use some clarity and calm, I'd love to support you.
